Elis Bergh

Elis Bergh (1881-1954) started working at Kosta in 1929 where he remained until 1950. Originally Bergh was a trained architect but found his place at Kosta as an artistic leader in the early 1930´s. At first his objective was to design lighting fixtures, an area where he was considered somewhat of an authority, but his interest in glass was to overwelming and he never returned to architecture. Elis Bergh designed a huge variety of service glass and heavy crystal vases during his time at Kosta and later on established his own brand, named Bergh Kristall.
