Sven Wejsfelt
wejsfelt
Talented Wejsfelt started his career as a thrower at Rörstrand in 1953, among other things he threw many of the unique Stålhane objects. He left for Gustavsberg a couple of years later to throw pottery for Stig Lindberg. Lindberg felt challenged by Wejsfelt´s talent and numerous times threatened to resign from Gustavsberg if Wejsfelt where to have his own line of stone ware. He is widely concidered as one of Scandinavias best pottery throwers in modern history.
