Philippe Starck

Born in Paris 1949, Starck early show ed an enthusiasm for design. As one of the worlds best known contemporary designers Starck has not only received public acclaim for his amazing building interiors but also proved to be an accomplished architect and product designer. Starck strongly believes that honesty and integrity should be at the core of design. Products should not be designed as "throw away artifacts" to only survive for as long as they remain in fashion, objectivity and durability are the key words in his designing process.
